Snapshot of the Position

At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are seeking a skilled individual with a passion for handling meats. The responsibilities of this position would involve the daily duties performed in the meat department.

What You’ll Do

- Cutting and displaying of fresh beef, pork, and frozen poultry
- Receiving, rotating, and storage of meat products
- Assisting in keeping refrigerated cases and display shelves properly stocked and faced at all times according to product movement and department standards
- Ensuring customer service is provided
- Promoting the meat sales through customer interaction.
- Making ground beef.
- Traying, wrapping, pricing and displaying of fresh and/or frozen meat and poultry products.
- Weighing, labelling, and packaging a variety of products for customer.
- Keeping refrigerated cases and display shelves properly stocked and faced at all times according to product movement and department standards.




- Ensuring a clean and sanitary environment.
- Learning safe food handling skills.
- Performing other duties and assignments as directed by Store Management.
- Other work related duties as assigned by Store Management

Rate of Pay

$16.35 - $20.96 per hour

Hours of Work

32+ hours per week; day, evenings, and weekends as needed

- Meat experience in a retail setting is not essential, but preferred
