Responsibilities

- Provide personal assistance and support to clients with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and mental health conditions.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Prepare meals and assist with nutritional needs.




- Maintain a clean and secure environment for clients.
- Document care provided accurately and report any changes in client condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar role in assisted living or nursing home settings.
- Strong understanding of dementia care, medication administration, and senior care.
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker in Ontario.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to personal support work.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
