Sales Representative needed for Furniture Distributor – GTA Eastern Area(City of Toronto/Scarborough/Markham/Newmarket/Aurora . The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and building their customer base, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport and preparing quotations within their assigned territory GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
- Close new accounts by answering telephone and e-mail inquiries; verify and enter information as required.
- Fulfill orders by transferring orders to inside sales, communicating expected delivery date and following up to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Secures market share from new and existing customers by personally visiting the stores to manage the account. Duties include: taking orders and help processing returns




- Liaises with the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure that customer accounts are current, and collects payments from customers, as required.

Qualifications:

- Account Management and/or Sales experience is mandatory
- 1 to 2 years of sales experience
- Prospecting and closing skills
- Ability to think “outside of the box”
- Strong phone presence and experience conducting multiple calls or visits per day
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- travel throughout the GTA territory and interact with customers on regular basis.( must have vehicle)
