Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and vision. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily store functions, driving sales growth, managing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Duties

- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets, utilizing effective merchandising and marketing techniques
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to build a motivated, skilled workforce committed to excellence in customer service
- Manage Time sheets, schedule, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control to optimize profitability and operational efficiency
- Oversee pricing strategies, sales promotions, and store presentation to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and cash handling procedures
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions as needed to maintain a high-performing team

Skills





- Proven experience in retail management with strong supervising skills and team leadership capabilities
- Excellent negotiation skills to build vendor relationships and secure favorable purchasing agreements
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems, cashiering, and sales management software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective communication skills for staff training, customer interactions, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development to nurture talent within the team
- Sound knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and store presentation standards
- Competence in budgeting, bookkeeping, math skills for financial analysis and cash handling procedures
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and record keeping with accuracy
- Time management skills to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and long-term projects

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
