We have an exciting career opportunity for a talented hospitality professional with a passion for quality, hospitality & leadership. We are seeking a dependable, professional, and service-oriented Banquet Server / Bartender to support banquet events, private functions, and beverage service. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages, maintaining event spaces, and ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after events.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently or with minimal supervision, adapting to varying event schedules, and working late-night shifts as required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently are essential.

Position: Banquet Bartender/ Banquet Server

Qualifications:

- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
- Set up, serve, and dismantle banquet events, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and beverage stations.
- Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service to guests during banquets, private functions, and special events.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established service standards and applicable liquor regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of banquet areas, bars, service stations,



and equipment.
- Monitor guest needs throughout events and respond promptly to requests, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and event breakdown duties, ensuring all areas are properly secured and ready for the next service.
- Work independently or with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and accountability in completing assigned duties.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate varying event schedules, including evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Additional Skills:

- Previous experience in banquet service, bartending, hospitality, or food and beverage service is preferred.
- Valid ProServe certification or the applicable provincial liquor service certification is required.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties, including lifting, carrying, and moving event equipment.
- Reliable, organized, professional, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to remain calm, efficient, and skilled in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Balance cash and record sales,
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Numeracy, communication, working with others, problem solving, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, continuous learning
