Equation Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join one of our valued clients in Calgary, AB. This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual looking to secure long-term employment with a reputable company.

The successful candidate will have previous forklift operating experience, strong warehouse knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Transport products and materials to designated storage and staging areas.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment concerns or maintenance requirements.
- Assist with inventory management, order picking, and general warehouse duties as required.
- Ensure materials are properly stored, secured, and organized.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including WHMIS and TDG regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid forklift certification covering Classes 1–7, issued by an accredited third-party training provider. In-house forklift tickets will NOT be accepted.
- Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)



certificate – Mandatory.
- Valid WHMIS 2025 certificate – Mandatory.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and warehouse operations.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
