Job Overview

Papa Murphy's is seeking friendly, detail-oriented Pizza Makers and Cashiers to join our team. We are looking to fill both Full Time and Part Time positions. This role involves preparing high-quality pizzas, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. Ideal candidates are passionate about food, have strong multitasking skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. This position offers an chance to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer service within the vibrant food industry.

Duties

- Prepare pizza ingredients according to company recipes and standards, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assemble pizzas with precision, maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Operate POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and handle transactions efficiently using cash or card
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas,



adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and equipment usage

Shifts

Part Time: 8:00pm - 1:30am

Full Time: Varies

Skills

- Experience in food preparation and food service environments preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, especially in cashiering or serving roles
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced setting
- Basic kitchen experience including food handling and sanitation practices
- Upselling skills to promote additional menu items effectively

Training is provided so if you are the right candidate experience is not required.

Must be legally able to work in Canada.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
