Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic

Job Duties: Heavy Duty Mechanic - Valid Class 5, Class 1 or 3 an asset ($40-$60/hour)

- Report to General Operations Manager for Brave Adventures Ltd.
- Equipment and vehicle inspections, routine maintenance and servicing, keep organized records
- Order parts and supplies, maintain inventory records
- Stock and tool up Mechanic Service Truck ready for work on remote jobs
- Operate Mechanic Truck and service vehicles/equipment off site
- Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed

Qualifications/Requirements

- Class 1 or 3 Driver's license/equivalent an asset
- Self motivated, able to work with minimal or no supervision
- Commitment to safety of self and team
- Ability to work longer hours during increased seasonal requirements
- Basic computer and cell phones use, i.e., text pictures, sending emails
- Critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

- 300 Series Mulchers (CMI, Prime Tech, Gyro Trac)




- F350 Ford Trucks
- Kenworth Highway Tractors and Trailers
- Plow Trucks, CAT Graders, CAT Dozer, Water Truck, Nodwell, Kubota Tractors
