Sushi Mura Richmond is seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment to ensure smooth food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and properly cleaned
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes responsibly




- Adhere to all safety protocols and restaurant policies during shift

Skills

- Experience in cleaning, food handling, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service
- Valuable physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
- Basic understanding of food service operations is advantageous but not required
