Job Summary

D&M; Concrete is a concrete finishing company operating across the Greater Edmonton region, headquartered out of our Acheson office. We are seeking an experienced Concrete Working Foreman to lead field crews, manage site preparation, and oversee day-to-day framing and pour operations. This is a field-first leadership role for someone who operates equipment, directs crews, and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise, lead, and mentor a crew of 3–5 finishers and laborers in daily field operations.
- Operate skid steers and excavators to execute precision site prep, final grading, and gravel placement
- Interpret construction drawings and blueprints as required to establish accurate layouts, elevations, and forms.
- Coordinate on-site material logistics, including ordering exact ready-mix yardage, checking slump tolerances, and scheduling concrete delivery trucks and pumps.
- Manage the complete pour sequence, layout, placement, and final finish across all commercial and residential jobs.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings, enforce safety protocols, and ensure full compliance with Alberta OH&S; regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:





- Minimum 10 years of hands-on concrete flatwork experience (screeding and power trowel operation are required).
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a direct lead hand or foreman capacity running crews in Western Canada.
- Proven capability operating skid steers and excavators for site prep and material handling.
- Solid blueprint literacy and proficiency with site lasers and layout techniques.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver's abstract (ability to drive a truck and trailer is required).
- Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing heavy construction labor in variable outdoor weather conditions.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
