Optometric Assistant: Part-Time, Student-Friendly (2–4 Days/Week)

We’re hiring a part-time Optometric Assistant to join our eye care team. This role is ideal for students, especially anyone interested in optometry, healthcare, or a people-focused career. We offer flexible scheduling of 2–4 days per week, and no experience is needed. We’ll train you.

What you’ll do

- Welcome patients and help make their visit a great experience
- Get patients ready for their eye exam by collecting health and vision history
- Help the optometrist set up equipment and keep patients comfortable
- Teach patients about contact lens options, fitting, and lens care




- Help keep contact lens inventory stocked and organized
- Answer patient questions about contact lenses and eye health
- Book appointments, update patient records, and process payments
- Keep the clinic clean, organized, and safe

What we’re looking for

- Friendly and comfortable talking with people
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Interest in eye care or healthcare (a big plus, but not required)
- Optical or customer service experience is welcome but not necessary

Schedule: Part time, 2–4 days per week. Shifts are flexible around your school schedule.
