Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Assessing Intake and Discharge Psychologist to join our team in providing specialized mental health evaluations for injured workers. This role involves conducting brief assessments to determine psychological fit for a PTSD program and writing discharge reports and indicating any restrictions or limitations.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough psychological assessments for injured workers during intake and discharge phases
- Gather detailed patient histories, including medical, psychological, and social information
- Collaborate with medical teams, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide recommendations for ongoing care or discharge based on assessment outcomes
- Assist in data collection efforts related to patient progress and program effectiveness

Requirements

- Registered Psychologist in BC
- Three years of experience working with injured workers or clients of various kinds
- PTSD proficiency

Pay is $250 per hour.
