Full-Time / Part-Time Baker Job Summary

Oh Sweet Day! Bake Shop is looking for a Full-Time/Part-Time Baker to join our team!

Located in the heart of the Tri-Cities, we’re a neighbourhood dessert shop proudly serving our local community and customers.

Everything we offer is made in-house with care. We’re passionate about creating our signature cheesecakes, modern buttercream cakes, and quality baked goods that look beautiful and taste even better.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Bake and prepare a variety of products, including cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, tarts, cake fillings, buttercream, and other baked goods
- Follow recipes and production standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Provide front-of-house support as needed, including operating the cash register, serving customers, packaging products, folding boxes, and assisting with orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, kitchen, and overall shop workplace
- Assist the team with daily bakery operations as needed

The Successful Candidate Must:

- Have commercial kitchen baking experience
- Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Be organized and able to prioritize and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong communication and customer service skills




- Be a self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Be reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Be available to work weekends and holidays

Experience

- Commercial Kitchen Baking: Required
- Food service: Minimum 1 year preferred

Education & Certification

- High school completion or equivalent required
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification preferred

Language

- English
