Jimmy Hair Studio & Spa is seeking a talented and professional Barber to join our salon environment in Kingston, Ontario, through an independent business arrangement. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced barber who is passionate about men's grooming, precision haircuts, modern fades, and exceptional customer service. We offer a chair rental option for CA$1,000 per month or are open to discussing a commission-based arrangement with the right candidate. The ideal professional takes pride in their craft, values client relationships, and is motivated to grow their clientele in a professional salon setting.

Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality barbering services, including precision cuts, fades, classic haircuts, and modern men's hairstyles tailored to each client's preferences.
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and professional client experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow appropriate sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and work areas.
- Provide professional grooming recommendations based on clients' preferences and individual needs.
- Manage client consultations and appointments professionally as agreed under the independent arrangement.
- Build positive client relationships and encourage repeat visits through consistent service quality.
- Bring and maintain your own professional barbering tools, equipment,



and personal supplies.
- Maintain an organized workstation, including the provided barber chair, wall mirror, and workstation with drawers.

Qualifications

- Proven professional experience as a Barber.
- Strong skills in fades, precision cutting, classic barbering, and modern men's hairstyles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of salon sanitation, disinfection, and safety practices.
- Professional, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented approach.
- Relevant training, qualifications, and insurance, as applicable to the services offered.
- Motivation to develop a loyal clientele and grow an independent business.

Compensation and Arrangement

- Chair rental: CA$1,000 per month.
- Commission-based arrangement: Open to discussion and negotiation.
- Professional tools and equipment are the responsibility of the candidate.
