- Ensure all work is completed in full compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and client-specific H&S; requirements. Plan and lead effective daily toolbox talks to organize meetings and weekly safety meetings.
- Read and interpret drawings, demolition scopes, and project specifications to execute precise selective demolition.
- Manage waste handling, material segregation, recycling, and bin logistics.
- Collect and report daily production data, site conditions, delays, and progress updates to the Operations Manager or Owner.
- Ensure projects are executed efficiently at or under budget by managing labour, equipment, and material usage.
- Supervise crews and subcontractors daily, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free job sites, including end-of-day cleanup.
- Act as the main onsite contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring deliverables are met.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of construction and demolition experience, with proven leadership ability.
- A reputation for being reliable, hands-on, and getting the job done right.
- Robust values—honest, ethical, and accountable.
- The ability to work independently, think on your feet, and make practical decisions under pressure.
- Solid experience using power tools and construction equipment.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A proven work history that shows your skills, experience, and growth.
- Strong communication and customer service skills—you represent the company onsite.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing project demands.
- A positive attitude and a mindset that embraces challenges.
