Responsibilities

- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for AP Biology, AP Statistics, Chemistry, English, or Math courses
- Foster an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects; provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with varying learning styles and special education needs
- Utilize computer skills and educational technology to enhance instruction and facilitate interactive learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance assessments




- Bc teacher's license
- 3years BC public school teaching experience

Skills

- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting
- Strong tutoring skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
- Expertise in Math, Science (Biology, Chemistry), English literature and language, or related subjects
- Excellent teaching abilities that motivate students and foster a love for learning
- Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with educational software or platforms
- Classroom experience that demonstrates effective classroom management and instructional techniques
- Knowledge of special education practices to support diverse learners’ needs
- Background in computer science or related fields is a plus for integrating technology into lessons
