Location: 83 Garry Street, 30th Floor, Winnipeg, Manitoba

Employment: Permanent, full-time and part-time opportunities

Compensation: $16.40 per hour plus participation in the tip pool

About Dos Pampas

Located 30 floors above downtown Winnipeg, Dos Pampas Skyline Restaurant brings together South American culinary traditions and Canadian Prairie ingredients in one of the city's most recognizable dining spaces.

Our menu features Argentine-inspired dishes, premium steaks, house-made specialties, and a thoughtfully selected wine and cocktail program.

We're looking for friendly, attentive, and dependable servers who take pride in providing excellent hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional table service throughout their visit.
- Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, and make informed food and beverage recommendations.
- Develop a strong understanding of our menu, including steaks, Argentine specialties, wines, cocktails, and food preparation methods.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
- Recommend appropriate appetizers, main courses, wine pairings, desserts, and additional beverages based on guests' preferences.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hospitality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and address questions or concerns professionally.
- Process guest payments accurately.




- Assist with dining room preparation, table settings, clearing, cleaning, and opening and closing duties.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and responsible liquor service standards.
- Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management.

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant serving experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A friendly, professional attitude and genuine interest in hospitality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables.
- Willingness to learn the menu and develop food and beverage knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Manitoba Smart Choices liquor service certification, or willingness to obtain certification before beginning work.
