Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Engineer to join our agile development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative iOS applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. This role requires a strong background in mobile application development, proficiency with modern frameworks and tools, and a passion for creating scalable, high-quality software solutions. The Senior iOS Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement features, optimize performance,



and ensure the seamless integration of APIs and web services.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of advanced iOS applications using Swift ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive interfaces utilizing UI frameworks such as UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, and other web services to connect mobile apps with backend systems.
- Implement unit testing, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Optimize application performance through profiling, debugging, and refactoring existing codebases.
- Work with cross-disciplinary teams including front-end developers using Angular, React Native, or other frameworks for cohesive product development.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications and development processes aligned with SDLC methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies such as Docker, AWS, Azure, DevOps practices, and data visualization tools to enhance application capabilities.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews to uphold high standards within the team.

Qualifications





- Proven experience in iOS application development with a strong portfolio of published apps on the App Store.
- Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and related development tools such as Visual Studio or GitHub repositories.
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Django, PHP, ASP.NET Core, Spring Framework, Ruby on Rails; experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite or Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
- Experience working within cloud environments such as AWS or Azure; knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins or Ansible is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles including MVC/MVVM patterns and OOP concepts.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Angular for integrated web development projects is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN; familiarity with Trello or Jira for project management is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment using Scrum methodologies; excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
