- Ezra Maple Ridge (EMR) is an international student program supporting high school students from Korea studying in Canada.
- The EMR program provides comprehensive support for international students, including day-to-day guidance, academic support and assistance with their overall well-being and development.
- EMR is associated with SD42 to support students in achieving their academic goals.

Job description:

We are currently hiring a full-time staff member, ideally who can speak fluently in Korean and English. This job is a blended position where you will be working with Gr. 8 - 12 international students as an administrative staff member.

You must be comfortable providing comprehensive support to students, while assisting with the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of the EMR program.

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys working with students, has strong verbal and written communication skills, knows how to use a variety of computer-based programs, and can effectively balance education and homestay-based office tasks.

Schedule:

- 11 am – 7:30 pm Monday and Thursday
- 12 – 7:30 pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday





Minimum qualifications:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of college degree required, any major is acceptable.
- No criminal convictions or pending charges.
- Fluency in both Korean and English.
- Able to portray professional at all times, including dealing with sensitive student matters.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a agile educational environment.

Preferred qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in relevant disciplines (English, English as a Second Language, Education, etc.
- Administrative certificate or diploma
- Experience with students in a teaching or support role
- TESL certificate from an accredited program
- Language-based exam teaching experience (IELTS, TOEFL)

Monthly salary:

- The starting salary reflects the amount for a probationary period (up to 3 months), and formal salary negotiations will take place once the probationary period ends.
