Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Control Room Operator to oversee daily operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative, communication, and team management skills, ensuring smooth coordination across departments. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently, with experience in office administration and vendor management. The Control Room Operator plays a vital role in maintaining operational safety, accuracy, and efficiency through effective supervision and communication.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and control plant or facility operations via multi-line phone systems and control panels
- Supervise staff and coordinate activities within the control room environment
- Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors and handling inquiries with professional phone etiquette
- Oversee human resources functions such as payroll processing, training & development, and employee scheduling
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including filing documents and managing vendor relationships
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial recordkeeping and budget tracking
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational procedures
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, and document management
- Support office management activities including organizing files, managing multi-line phone systems, and overseeing clerical functions

Experience

- Prior supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating team management capabilities
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, bookkeeping,



payroll, and vendor management systems
- Experience in front desk operations and handling multi-line phone systems
- Background in human resources or administrative support roles is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Training & development experience is a plus for supporting staff growth initiatives
