Position Summary

The incumbent provides a positive learning setting for the students in the oral health programs to assist students in acquiring entry to practice competencies. The incumbent will provide support requiring independent judgment, technical specialization, and experience chairside in the dental clinics. The incumbent will communicate with the Dental Clinic Administrator to discuss student progress and ensure equity of student experiences. The incumbent will liaise with the Dentists, as well as the clinical oral health demonstrators and lead instructors, for calibration of clinical processes.

Experience must be current with the last 5 years.

Registered to practice as a self-initiating dental hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario ( CDHO ).
