Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Support patient care by monitoring health conditions, recording vital signs, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals promptly
- Provide medication reminders accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols to ensure safety and compliance
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning personal spaces and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in conversations and recreational activities to enhance quality of life
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely when transferring or repositioning individuals to prevent injury

Skills





- Proven experience in home care, assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care practices
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, medication reminders, and hygiene standards
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia to deliver specialized support
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and providing compassionate end-of-life assistance
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper body mechanics
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, residents, and families
- Strong attention to detail in documenting care activities and monitoring health status

Pay: $21.25-$31.15 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 30.0 per week
