Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a 60 year old male client with a spinal cord injury. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a genuine and kind individual requiring assistance with daily activities and emotional support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of empathy, patience, and professionalism, ensuring clients receive high-quality care in a safe and respectful workplace. Experience in assisted living, senior care, or private care is an asset. This position is paid through the Direct Funding Program and offers flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support (client does walk with a rollator).
- Assist with bladder and bowel routines.
- Assist with meal preparation.




- Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Support clients with mobility challenges through transfer assistance as needed.
- Assist with range of motion exercises.
- Assist with appointments or errands when necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

Looking to cover 3 shifts per week at 3 hours per shift. Starting rate between $20 and $23/hour depending on experience with a raise after 3 months when competency is shown. Driver's license is an asset. Vulnerable Sectors check required.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 9.0 per week
