What Position We Need...

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cabinet Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of cabinetmaking, from design and fabrication to installation. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to producing top-notch commercial cabinetry that meets both functional and aesthetic requirements, while adhering to AWMAC and FSC standards.

Job Duties as a Cabinet Maker/Installer...

- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production and installation of cabinets.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet AWMAC quality standards, with attention to detail and precision.
- Assembly: Assemble cabinets and custom woodwork in the workshop and assist with on-site delivery when necessary.
- Cabinet Installation: Install custom cabinets, solid-surface countertops and other wood products based on client specifications, and other tasks as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production staff, project manager and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

What Qualities Should a Candidate Possess...





- 2+ years proven experience as a Cabinet Installer in a Commercial job site environment.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials and finishes.
- Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot during production.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or Skilled Trade Certificate is a plus.
- WHMIS certification
- Valid driver's license.
