Pay: $23.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

CAP Building Systems is seeking a dependable, hands-on Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our manufacturing and fabrication operations in Strathroy, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload trucks carrying structural steel, fabricated components, crates, and other materials.
- Safely move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Supply production teams with the materials needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Build wooden shipping crates and prepare products for safe transportation.
- Organize incoming materials and stage outgoing shipments.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment when trained and authorized.
- Use hand and power tools for crate construction and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Assist production and shipping teams with other duties as required.

Qualifications





- Previous material handling, shipping and receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience handling structural steel or fabricated components is an asset.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset but not required.
- Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with hand and power tools are beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical work involving lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
