Residential Cleaning & Caretaking Worker

Location: Willoughby, Langley, BC
Pay: $20 per hour
Hours: 20–30 hours per week

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented cleaning and caretaking worker to maintain residential buildings and common areas. The ideal candidate has strong cleaning skills, communicates well, and takes pride in their work.

Duties

- Clean amenity rooms, parkades, hallways, stairwells, and elevators.
- Vacuum stairs and hallways, mop floors, and clean doors and interior glass.
- Keep indoor and outdoor common areas clean and tidy.
- Perform regular building walks to check for damage, maintenance issues, and other concerns.
- Take photos and report issues to management by text or WhatsApp.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Follow cleaning guidelines and perform other caretaking duties as needed.

Requirements

- Previous cleaning experience and strong cleaning skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.




- Fluent in English with good communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential. Being on time is very important.
- Have a reliable smartphone for taking photos, texting, and using WhatsApp.
- Responsible, organized, and able to multitask.
- Polite and qualified when interacting with residents.
- Able to work independently, follow instructions, and accept feedback.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, vacuuming, and mopping.

Work Schedule

- 20–30 hours per week.
- Regular hours between 8 AM and 4 PM.
- Occasional weekend work or on-call availability may be required.
