Custom Millwork Fabricator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Wood Exhibit Fabricator to build custom trade show exhibits and display fixtures. You will transform pre-cut and CNC-cut components into finished exhibit elements, including counters, roto-lock wall systems, plinths, wood towers, and other custom structures.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, exhibit fabrication, or display manufacturing. Every project is different and requires strong drawing-reading skills, precise assembly, and quality finishing.

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and specifications.
- Assemble and fabricate custom exhibit components using pre-cut and CNC-cut parts.
- Build counters, wall systems, display platforms, towers, and other custom structures.
- Work with plywood, particleboard, melamine, Masonite, and bendable plywood to create curved and non-standard shapes.
- Apply laminates and complete edge finishing with clean seams and accurate details.
- Safely operate table saws, trimmers, and standard woodshop hand and power tools.
- Check measurements, fit, and finish against project drawings.
- Identify and communicate fabrication issues before projects leave the shop.




- Work with the team to meet production schedules and trade show deadlines.
- Maintain an organized workspace and follow shop safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proven hands-on experience in custom exhibit fabrication, millwork, cabinetry, or display fixture construction.
- Strong ability to read and work from shop drawings and blueprints.
- Experience applying laminates and finishing edges.
- Ability to fabricate curved components and complex shapes.
- Proficiency with table saws, trimmers, and standard woodworking equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable working within tight project timelines.
- Previous trade show exhibit experience is an asset.

Role Focus

This is a hands-on assembly, fabrication, and finishing position working primarily with pre-cut and CNC-cut components.
