Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Cabinetmaker/Millworker with experience in the manufacturing and assembly of high-quality custom cabinetry. This is a hands-on role involving the interpretation of layout drawings, the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools, and the precise assembly of cabinetry components.

What You’ll Do

· Read and interpret shop drawings and layouts for custom cabinetry projects

· Operate woodworking equipment and hand tools with accuracy and care

· Perform cabinet preparation, dry fit, and final assembly

· Inspect parts for quality, fit, and finish throughout the process

· Work independently or as part of a team to meet production timelines

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

· Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and efficiency

· Perform other duties as required

What You Bring

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a cabinet manufacturing environment with hands on cabinetmaking or joinery experience

· Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings and layouts

· Skilled in using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools

· Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on craftsmanship

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to cabinetry work





· Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Education

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· Red Seal Joiner certification preferred but not mandatory

· Red Seal Joiner certification is a strong asset

· Joinery apprenticeship or related trades training preferred
