Hours: Continental Days

Pay Rate: $21.86 /hr.

OT Method: Averaging Agreement after 88 hrs

Job Description:

The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities and job performance of Security Guards assigned to all areas belonging to their facility. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

- Provides leadership, direction, and ongoing coaching and training
- Ensures all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required for each shift
- Ensures site staff adhere to all Paladin Security and site-specific security policies and procedures
- Motivates staff and issues commendations




- Disciplines staff when necessary and ensures proper documentation is passed on to head office
- Attendance Management
- Performs security audits
- Documents and investigates security incidents and complaints
- Provide proactive and reactive security patrols.
- Communicate any concerns/issues with the Client Service Manager

Prerequisites:

- Immunization Record - Proof of x2 dose vaccines from Covid - 19
- A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- A valid WSIB Approved First aid and CPR Level C
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- At least two years’ of security experience in a team lead role would be an asset
- Post Secondary education in a law enforcement/security program from a recognized college
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy
