ABOUT THE POSITION

At this time, we are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team of professionals and assist the company with the smooth and timely completion of projects. The successful applicant must be prepared to travel throughout the GTA, as all work is performed at clients’ sites.

THE DUTIES IN THIS CAPACITY WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

• Review drawings and job specifications before starting work.
• Measure and prepare wood and other materials required for each project.
• Cut, shape and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
• Build and install framing, forms, supports and other carpentry components required for masonry projects.
• Install and repair doors, frames,



trim and other building fixtures as required.
• Work alongside masonry crews and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintain tools and work areas and follow all company safety procedures.
• Remove old or excess materials and keep the job site clean and organized.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Secondary School Diploma
• 1-2 years of carpenter experience
• Driver’s licence is an asset
• Good English skills

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

• This is a permanent full time position, with scheduled weekday shifts and occasional weekend shifts.
• $36.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
• Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week.
• Office: 151 Randall St, Oakville, Ontario, L6J 1P5. Please note that travel to project sites within the Greater Toronto Area will be required.
