Stronghold Light Gauge Steel Inc specializes in the design and fabrication of light-gauge steel framing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction. Our team delivers durable, sustainable, and dimensionally accurate panels engineered to meet today's building standards.

Stronghold is seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to oversee the execution of our projects. Reporting to ownership, the Construction Manager will lead projects from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating site crews, subcontractors, engineers, and clients to deliver work safely, on schedule, and within budget. The role bridges our fabrication shop and the field. It ensures panels, materials, and crews arrive when and where they're needed, installations meet design and code requirements, and quality and safety standards are upheld on every site. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong planning and communication skills, a solid grasp of construction documents and building codes, and a track record of running multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:
• Directly overseeing a staff of 10-15 steel fabricators who will complete construction projects such as a multi-unit residential project
• Planning the panelized build sequence
• Organizing documents between the different trades from architects to guys on the field.
• Evaluating the quality of work from start to finish to ensure they meet company standards




• Preparing contracts with developers and contractors
• Preparing contracts with architects and consultants
• Negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contracts
• Planning projects to ensure that they are completed according to schedules and milestones agreed upon
• Monitoring progress of projects against established schedules
• Representing Stronghold at meetings with clients and project managers
• Preparing progress reports on ongoing projects for clients
• Preparing schedules on project
• Hiring and supervising subcontractors, such as carpenters to perform back-framing our main crew
• Developing and implementing quality control programs to ensure our product always meets our standard

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position will have
• 15+ years of Management Experience in the Construction Sector
• Relevant Training in Civil Engineering & Formwork
• Training and/or relevant experience in Program Management
• Experience managing a staff of 10+ construction professionals, including carpenters.
