Position: Restaurant Manager (NOC 60030)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Wage: 38.40 hourly / 40 hours per week
Overtime may be required as needed and will be paid at $57.60 per hour.

Job Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily restaurant operations
• Monitor revenues and expenses and assist with budget management
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff
• Develop and implement operational procedures
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and workplace safety regulations
• Manage inventory and coordinate purchasing activities
• Address customer concerns and maintain high service standards




• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers and service providers
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities
• Prepare reports and maintain operational records

Requirements:
• Secondary school completion required
• Completion of a college program in hospitality management, business administration or a related field is an asset
• 1–2 years of experience in restaurant operations, including supervisory or management responsibilities
• Solid communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
