Review work orders and drawings to understand the required jewelry and metalworking tasks.
Operate and adjust machines used for cutting, shaping, drilling, polishing, grinding, and finishing jewelry and metal pieces.
Check the size and measurements of finished pieces using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Examine jewelry and metal parts to identify defects, uneven surfaces, or other quality issues.
Clean and treat metal pieces using suitable solutions to remove unwanted material and improve the finish.
Set up machines, tools, and materials before starting production work.
Make minor adjustments to machines and tools to maintain proper operation and product quality.
Carry out regular cleaning and basic maintenance of machines and equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools for jewelry making, finishing, and related work.
Operate CNC equipment and enter basic machine settings when required.
Follow workplace safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
