- Design cloud architecture components (governance, identity, networking, security, data, business continuity and costs) using team reference models, with AWS or GCP equivalents when needed.
- Support the design of cloud platforms hosting AI solutions (models, document retrieval and agents), with appropriate security and cost controls.
- Use AI coding assistants and agents in accordance with team practices, including code reviews, testing, security checks and human validation.
- Automate deployments using infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to make delivery reliable and repeatable.
- Help assess existing client infrastructure and applications, compare modernization options (optimize, transform or replace) and use AI to support code analysis.
- Track cloud and AI spending, including token usage, and flag variances to the enterprise architect.
- Apply client requirements, including those of regulated sectors (resilience, security, DORA, the EU AI Act and data sovereignty), with expert support.
- Keep AI practices current, document work, share lessons learned and grow toward becoming a trusted architecture resource.
