Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Sprinkler Systems Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems, with the ability to read blueprints, inspection reports, use a computer, have customer service experience, and is willing to learn about fire alarm, fire suppression and other fire related systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety and compliance of fire protection systems.

Responsibilities

- Determining Scope of Work
- Reviewing Project Plans and Specifications
- Identifying Potential Risks
- Developing Project Schedules
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and site requirements.
- Utilize software tools such as Heavy Bid for construction estimating and Bluebeam for project documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients and negotiate project terms effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs performed on fire sprinkler systems.




- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on job sites.

Requirements

- 2+ years estimating fire sprinkler deficiencies and installs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Reader
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage client expectations and project costs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid Journeyman sprinkler systems installer certificate, driver’s license, and clean driver abstract
- Ability to read blueprints and inspection reports
- Familiarity with NFPA 13, 20, and 25 Code Books

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
