Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Arborist to join our team that has at least 5 years experience leading a crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, tree identification, with the ability to safely and efficiently perform tree pruning, and removals. Climbing, felling, spurring and operating a bucket truck are essential assets. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques to promote healthy and safe urban and rural landscapes. Duties

- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal using industry-standard techniques and equipment
- Operate bucket trucks, and rigging gear to access difficult or elevated locations
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to protect team members and the public
- Inspect trees for health issues or hazards and recommend appropriate action
- Maintain clean work sites by removing debris and ensuring equipment is properly stored after use
- Assist with storm damage response and emergency tree services as needed




- Collaborate with clients, municipalities, or property managers to assess project scope and provide expert advice on tree health

Experience

- Proven experience as an Arborist
- Hands-on experience operating bucket trucks, bucket operation equipment, and rigging systems
- Proficient with chainsaw safety
- Certification in arboriculture (ISA Certified Arborist) is highly desirable
- Ability to work at heights safely while managing complex tasks in outdoor environments
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to tree work and equipment operation

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
