Server/Bartender – Part-Time

Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill | Windsor, Ontario

Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill, located in East Windsor (Forest Glade), is looking for experienced, reliable, and outgoing individual to join our team as part-time Server/Bartender!

We're looking for team players who thrive in a fast-paced workplace, provide exceptional customer service, and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and consistently.
- Maintain strong knowledge of our food menu, drink specials, promotions, and upcoming events.
- Provide recommendations and upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.
- Check on guests throughout their visit to ensure a positive experience and promptly address any concerns.
- Process payments accurately and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout every shift.
- Perform regular cleaning duties, including wiping down bar counters, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning glassware, organizing bottles, and maintaining bar equipment.
- Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies as needed.
- Complete opening, closing, and side-work duties, ensuring the bar and dining areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, seating areas, service stations, and other front-of-house spaces.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.




- Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management during busy service periods.
- Assist with special events, game days, and promotional nights as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of serving and/or bartending experience required.
- Valid Ontario Smart Serve certification required.
- Solid customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a busy sports bar environment.
- Experience handling cash and operating POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Positive attitude, solid work ethic, and willingness to support other team members.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and during major sporting events.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while managing multiple customers and responsibilities.
