WE'RE HIRING! – SENIOR COMPANION & LIFESTYLE SUPPORT

$35 per hour | 20 hours per week to start | Prospect for additional hours

Are you a compassionate, energetic, and dependable individual who enjoys spending time with seniors and making a meaningful difference in their lives?

We are looking for a Senior Companion & Lifestyle Support Worker to provide personalized companionship, social engagement, and light household assistance to seniors in a welcoming community environment.

Your Role Will Include:

- Providing friendly companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Organizing activities such as games, crafts, music, and social outings
- Accompanying seniors on walks, errands, and community activities
- Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and organization
- Helping with grocery shopping, simple meal preparation, and snacks
- Encouraging social interaction, independence, and active living
- Creating personalized activities based on each senior's interests and abilities

We're Looking for Someone Who:

- Has a genuine passion for working with seniors
- Is patient, caring, trustworthy, and reliable




- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can work independently and take initiative
- Is creative, organized, and enjoys planning activities
- Has previous experience working with seniors (preferred)
- Can provide references and complete a criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check

Position Details:

Pay: $35 per hour
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week initially, with potential for additional hours
Schedule: Flexible, based on residents' needs
Location: Mahogany Platinum Seniors Community
