Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, and ovens.
- Identify electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Repair or replace defective components to restore proper appliance functionality.
- Conduct thorough appliance inspections and accurately identify the root cause of malfunctions.
- Test appliances following repairs to ensure proper and safe operation.
- Clearly explain diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, and completed work to customers.
- Maintain accurate service records, including diagnostic results, parts required, and repairs completed.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the Apolo Appliance Solutions team.
- Provide timely updates regarding appointment status, parts requirements, and job completion.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and professional work environment at customer locations.
- Address warranty-related service concerns in accordance with the independent contractor agreement.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing residential appliances.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to independently diagnose appliance problems and perform effective repairs.
- Experience using multimeters and other appliance diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Own professional appliance repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to provide accurate service documentation and communicate repair findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

- Valid G2 or G1 Gas Technician licence is considered an asset.
- Experience servicing major appliance brands, including Whirlpool, Maytag, LG, Samsung, GE, Frigidaire, Bosch, KitchenAid, Amana, and Miele.
- Previous experience working as an independent appliance repair technician or operating an appliance repair business.
- Experience diagnosing complex electrical and electronic control board issues.
- Familiarity with appliance parts identification, sourcing, and replacement.
- Ability to complete multiple service appointments efficiently.
- Experience using field service management software, such as Jobber.
- Existing commercial general liability insurance.

Weekly earnings are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual compensation depends on completed jobs and eligible commissionable revenue, as outlined in the contractor agreement.

Independent Contractor Structure

This opportunity is offered on an independent contractor basis.

- Contractors receive 35% commission on eligible completed service jobs, calculated according to the written contractor agreement.
- Apolo Appliance Solutions coordinates customer leads, scheduling, and invoicing.
- Contractors are responsible for their own applicable taxes, transportation, tools, and business expenses, as specified in the agreement.
- Commission payment terms, warranty responsibilities, and other working arrangements will be outlined in a written independent contractor agreement.
- Contractors are expected to maintain professional service standards and provide accurate documentation for completed work.
