Looking for a Change from HVAC?

Are you an experienced HVAC technician, gas fitter, or skilled tradesperson looking for a career that offers a better work-life balance without giving up the satisfaction of working with your hands?

Consider a career in the hearth industry!

At Wilk Stove Ltd., we offer a refreshing alternative to traditional HVAC and service work. No middle-of-the-night emergency calls, no HOT commercial rooftop units, and no unpredictable on-call rotations.

Instead, you'll work with a small, supportive team installing beautiful fireplaces and stoves for homeowners who are genuinely excited about their current purchase.

Most of our installations are completed within one or two days, giving you the satisfaction of seeing a finished project and a happy customer before moving on to the next job.

Why Work at Wilk Stove?

We believe a career in the trades shouldn't mean sacrificing your personal life.

Here's what makes our company different:

- No on-call shifts. When your workday is finished, your time is your own.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Enjoy predictable hours and your weekends off.
- Enjoy your summers! Vacation time is available throughout the spring and summer, subject to scheduling and approval.
- No commercial rooftops. Our work focuses on residential fireplace and stove installations rather than commercial HVAC equipment.
- A specialized trade that's easier to transition into. Hearth installations involve a more focused range of equipment than the broad scope of HVAC systems. We provide product-specific training to help you succeed.
- Happy, excited customers. Our customers are investing in something they want and love. You're helping transform their homes, not responding to another emergency breakdown.
- A small, cohesive team. Work alongside people who support one another, communicate openly, and take pride in their workmanship.
- Competitive wages.

We offer compensation comparable to journeyman-level trades positions for qualified, experienced candidates.
- Gas Fitter B apprenticeship opportunity. Interested in entering the gas trade? We offer an apprenticeship pathway for the right candidate.
- See the results of your work. Most installations take just one or two days, allowing you to finish projects, see the transformation, and take pride in what you've accomplished.
