Who we're looking for: The Brave Waves Team is looking for individuals who are organized, reliable, can follow a lesson plan, and love working with children to teach swim on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Brave Waves team members are energetic, charismatic, caring, organized, and reliable. They can work well under pressure and can problem solve. They are patient and compassionate with others and also have an amazing sense of humour. The Brave Waves Team is always professional in their communication and demeanour, are team oriented individuals, and believe that learning is a wonderful thing that anyone can do.

This position is perfect for anyone with aquatic experience looking for a casual or permanent part time job who have a love of swimming and working with children. Mature or retired individual looking for something more out of life? We value all ages and all experiences! Brave Waves loves to work with people who are excited to learn and be a part of the fantastic atmosphere. All instructors must be certified with Bronze Cross, Standard First Aid & be a Brave Waves certified Instructor. Not Certified? We can help!

Candidates must have or be willing to get their Bronze Medallion and Cross. Please note that these national accreditations have a cost associated,



Brave Waves cannot offer Lifesaving Society qualification for free. For more information on how to obtain these credentials please reach out. Lessons range from two-on-one (2:1) to four-on one (4:1) depending on age and ability. Once candidates are hired they must take a 15 hour instructor course which is free to become a certified Brave Waves Instructor.

Job runs for Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3:30pm-8:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays 8am-12:30pm or 12:30-5pm. We also have a Tuesday morning shift 9-12pm.
