Job Duties:
• Assess clients' hair and scalp conditions to identify suitable styling options and treatment needs.
• Consult with clients on hair care services and recommend styles that complement their facial features and personal preferences.
• Perform precision haircuts, trimming, layering, and styling based on individual client requests.
• Provide a variety of hairstyling services, including curling, permanent waving, and other specialized styling techniques.
• Perform professional hair colouring services, including bleaching, highlighting, tinting, and colour adjustments.
• Carry out chemical hair treatments, such as perming and straightening,



using appropriate products and techniques.
• Deliver personalized hair and scalp treatments to improve hair condition and address individual client concerns.
• Wash, shampoo, and condition clients' hair before or after styling and treatment services.
• Monitor salon product inventory and arrange replenishment of hair care products, colouring supplies, and styling materials.

Job requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Certification: Hairstylist certification from the Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia
• Language: English
