Position Info:
• Position: Infants’ daycare worker
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $38.50/hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the developmental needs of infants and toddlers and create individualized care and early learning plans
• Design and deliver age-appropriate programs involving sensory exploration, gentle movement, and early social and cognitive development
• Provide attentive daily care, including feeding, diaper changes, personal hygiene, and comforting infants and toddlers
• Prepare suitable snacks and organize feeding, play, and rest areas according to children's individual routines
• Conduct interactive activities such as storytelling, singing, music, and creative play to encourage early learning and development
• Support toddlers in developing independence with feeding, dressing, and age-appropriate toileting routines




• Monitor children's developmental milestones and identify potential learning, behavioural, or developmental concerns
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their children's daily routines, progress, and individual needs
• Ensure a clean, secure, and nurturing childcare environment that supports the health and well-being of infants and toddlers
• Work collaboratively with other educators and childcare professionals to provide consistent, individualized care
• Participate in staff meetings to review children's development, share observations, and improve childcare practices

Requirements:
• Language: English
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience is required
• Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required
• Certification: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Infant/Toddler Educator Certificate
