Job requirements:
Languages: English
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

• First Aid Certificate
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate

Responsibilities
Tasks
• Operate heavy equipment
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
• Complete onboard and other logs
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Prepare accident reports
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment




• Perform minor repairs to equipment
• Set up and operate air/water snow gun
• Perform snow maintenance operations including handling snowmaking and snow removal equipment
• Perform road maintenance, grading, and repairs
• Install culverts and manage drainage
• Support site prep and general construction work
• Operate snowcats and equipment to build and maintain snow roads, ice roads, and work areas
• Perform snow packing, grading, and trail building in off-road conditions
• Assist with ice road construction (flooding, surface maintenance)
• Operate snowmaking equipment as required
