is in need of General Farm Worker (Cattle Handling)

Employment Terms: Full Time – Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Involved in all aspects of livestock feeding, bedding and detection of sick animals
2. Feed and provide water to cattle.
3. Monitor cattle for signs of illness or injury.
4. Assist with handling, sorting, and moving cattle.
5. Clean and maintain barns, pens, and livestock areas.
6. Assist with calf care and general livestock care.
7. Clean and maintain feeding and watering equipment.
8. Perform general farm maintenance, including fences and gates.
9. Operate basic farm equipment and machinery.
10. Follow proper animal-handling and farm safety practices.
11. Perform other related farm duties as required.

Employment Requirements:
1. Education:



No specific education is required is required.
2. Work Experience: Previous farm experience would be an asset but not required; On-the-job training will be provided.

Working Hours: 40-50 hours/week (shift work); working hours may vary depending on business requirement or weather condition; will work alternating weekends with a day off during the week; 2 diverse days off per week

Wage: $18.34/hour
