We are seeking for two appliance service technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of electric appliances while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities:
• Diagnose faults in appliances using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
• Inspect and test home and commercial appliances for proper functioning
• Repair or replace defective parts, such as motors, switches, heating elements, or circuit boards
• Disassemble appliances to access and remove defective components
• Adjust and calibrate appliance settings to ensure optimal performance
• Provide cost estimates for repairs, including parts and labor




• Advise customers on appliance maintenance and proper usage
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar work setting
• Secondary (high) school certificate is required
• Trade certification as appliance service technician is required
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot appliance issues
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy appliances

Compensation and conditions:
• Full-time, permanent position consisting of at least 35 weekly work hours
• The remuneration will be set at CAD$36.00 per hour
• Overtime pay will apply after 44 hours of work per week
• Primary business location: 9627 Horton Rd SW, Calgary, AB T2V 2X5.
• On the road job. Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
