Job Details:
* Full time
* Permanent
* 6 days a week, steady day shift
* $17.95 per hour; Not overtime
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Harvest fruits/vegetables using hand tool
* Sort, weigh and pack fruit/vegetables at the farm
* Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery
* Crop work including: deleafing, stringing, lowering, pruning
* Monitor plants problems such as diseases, weeds, insect pests and report to supervisor
* Inspect product prior to packaging, and ensure that quality specifications are meet on the final product
* Follow procedures to report any incidents at work
* Report quality or crop issues to labour supervisor
* Follow all company policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Understand and follow information presented through spoken words and sentences by supervisor




* Communicate any issues or concerns to supervisor
* No education required
Physical Abilities:
* Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
* Must be able to bend, stretch, twist or reach with body, arms and/or legs.
* Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy material (i.e. up to 23kg / 50lbs.)
* Work in a changing temperature setting
