Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Labourer/Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery, performing assembly and fabrication tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with CNC equipment, CNC saws and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Duties

- Operate CNC machinery including CNC saw machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce accurate components.
- Perform some assembly, and fabrication tasks using hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
- Use forklifts for material handling within the warehouse or production area.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications using calipers, gauges, and visual inspection.
- Package finished products efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.




- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.

Experience

- Prior experience within machine shop, CNC lathes, or similar machining equipment is highly desirable.
- Experience operating forklifts and operating overhead cranes would be considered an asset
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, some assembly, mechanically inclined and quality control processes is advantageous.
- Warehouse experience or background in manufacturing environments will be considered an asset.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are required.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, calipers, and packaging processes is beneficial.

This position requires candidates to demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work effectively within a team setting while adhering to manufacturing standards.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
