Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to lead our bakery team and oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in food preparation, baking, and customer service, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting prospect to manage a dynamic bakery environment, ensuring the production of delicious baked goods while providing exceptional service to our customers. The Baker will be responsible for self managed work, managing inventory, leading new recipe creations, and ensuring compliance with all food handling and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily bakery operations, including baking, food preparation, and packaging of baked goods
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Coordinate inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
- Ensure all baked products meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Develop new recipes and improve existing products to meet customer preferences
- Train staff on baking techniques, food handling, safety protocols, and customer service skills
- Manage customer interactions, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
- Monitor cleanliness of the bakery environment and ensure compliance with health regulations




- Assist in marketing efforts by creating attractive displays and promoting bakery offerings

Qualifications

- Proven experience in baking, cake decorating, or a similar food industry role
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
- Prior restaurant or bakery management experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with an eye for presentation and detail-oriented work
- Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee inventory and maintain records
