ARAMARK is Hiring a Pastry Chef for the Manic-5 Site Position: Pastry Chef Overtime is paid at time-and-a-half. Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off rotation Private room and bathroom accommodations Washer and dryer facilities Aramark offers a transportation allowance as well as highly competitive group insurance benefits. Candidates must reside in the Baie-Comeau area or be able to travel to the Baie-Comeau airport. Serve meals to Hydro-Québec employees at Manic-5 and participate in and support kitchen operations. Cook and prepare food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes. Apply icing and decorate pastries. Assist with overall kitchen operations as required. A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or both is preferred. Must be proficient in preparing and baking both traditional and modern pastries. Solid culinary skills are considered an asset. Participate in kitchen cleaning and other duties related to the position. Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety programs.
